September 13, 2024 - Week 3

Hello Dale Street Community,

Our first five-day school week was fantastic! It was filled with engaging learning opportunities, and we also celebrated our first Spirit Day. I couldn't be prouder of our rockstar students and staff for their hard work and enthusiasm. Please take a moment to enjoy a closer look at some of the moments from this week. Additionally, stay informed about some exciting upcoming events we have planned.

This week students in Mrs. Ross’ & Mrs. Seaver’s class were involved in wonderful conversations about descriptive language, exploring ways to help their writing become more creative.

Congratulations to this week's Positive Referrals!

Do you want to know if a volcano can pop up in Medfield? You could always ask a Dale Street Rockstar from Mrs. Scott's fourth-grade classroom.

Welcome back! The Medfield Coalition for Public Education (MCPE) is so excited to kick off another school year. We have many fun events planned for our community this year. First up, the 2024 Fall Ball!! Save the date for the 2024 MCPE Fall Ball on Friday, November 15th at the Cape Club of Sharon from 7pm to midnight! The biennial Fall Ball is MCPE’s biggest fundraiser, and it’s an event not to be missed! Tickets go on sale on Medfield Day -- Saturday, September 28th. Be sure to follow MCPE on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop!

And in case you forgot, or don’t yet know, MCPE is a volunteer-run, independent nonprofit organization in Medfield that raises money from the community in order to fill the gap between a tight school budget and tremendous school needs. Funds raised through events and generous donations from Medfield residents and businesses are granted to Medfield teachers, faculty, and administrators to support the development of innovative programs, curriculum, and enrichment at all five Medfield Public Schools.

So mark your calendars for the 2024 Fall Ball and get ready to raise some serious money for our schools and kids!

Positive Sign Thursday!

'YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE!'

This week in Mrs. Nee's fifth-grade class, students participated in a collaborative activity called "Give One, Get One" focusing on Indigenous societies in North America throughout history. #collaborativelearning

All students in grades 4 and 5 will have school pictures taken on September 18th. Picture forms were sent out last week. Please have your child visit the office if they need another one.
