Hello Dale Street Families,
An amazing week here at #beproudbedale! I would like to commend our Grade 4 & 5 students who completed their ELA MCAS testing. They were awesome! MCAS testing was only one small part of our week. Check out some of the wonderful scenes...
This afternoon a group of Dale Street ROCKSTARS came back to school to clean up and help our school be more beautiful. A HUGE thank you to all of these awesome volunteers and special thanks to Mrs. Seitz for organizing this cleanup.
Congratulations to this week's Positive Referrals for demonstrating Dale Street's Core Values!
Thank you to the MCPE for fundraising for the Onward Grant and supplying additional clear dividers for students' desks. If supplying them wasn't enough, volunteers showed up today to assist custodians in installing them! Thank you!
Our next StuCo meeting will be next Wednesday, 5/19, at 3:05pm after school.
StuCo Spirit Day will be on Friday, 5/21. The theme is to dress in your favorite sports team attire or as your favorite book character. Be sure to show your Dale St Spirit!

Students in Ms. Plympton's fourth-grade class had a lot of fun reviewing math concepts this week. Check out the notecard towers that added to the excitement.
Dale Street's MCAS testing will continue next week. It is most important that students attend school on the days of testing, so please plan appointments in a way that does not interfere with your child being in school on the following testing dates:
Math
Grade 5 - May 18th
Grade 4 - May 19th
Science, Technology, and Engineering
Grade 5 - May 20th
Check this out...Grade 5 students in Mrs. Nee's class had some fun with calendars and order of operations. Very cool!
The Dale Street Math Challenge is on! Students are free to solve as many problems as they can and will have about a week to turn in their work. Students can hand in a hard copy of the challenge to the office or email it to Mrs. Perachi (bperachi@email.medfield.net) prior to the due date.
More information, including a calendar of important dates and a link to download and print the challenges and solutions, is available here. Questions regarding the math challenge program can be directed to Dale Street math specialist, Mrs. Perachi.
Great discussion during Ms. Johnson's Grade 5 Sanford Harmony Social Emotional Lesson this week. Their topic - What makes a good friend and how classmates can support one another? So important!

Please ask them the check the overflowing lost & found! Tables with lost and found items have been placed in the lobby.
Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year.
