This past Monday I had the pleasure of shadowing a fourth grade student. I spent part of the day working on reading fluency, enjoying snack, and using area and perimeter to create a zoo! It was so cool - a truly unique and invaluable perspective. I was shadowing as part of Medfield's involvement in a FUSE Fellowship program where we are collaborating with other districts to learn more about student learning (ex. blended and personalized learning). This program is run by The Highlander Institute. This was an amazing and valuable experience for me. It is something I certainly plan to do again.
