It was certainly a fragmented first week of 2018 here at #beproudbedale. However, there were still many amazing things that took place. Take a look.....
Dale Street was featured in a recent Medfield Patch article. You can check out the article here.
Members of the Museum of Science visited our school this week and provided a presentation on Animal Adaptations. All grade 4 students had (or will have) the opportunity to hear some great information, view live animals, and check out some cool animal skulls. A big thank you to our awesome PTO for funding this excellent experience!

You donation is a statement of kindness and caring to assist the MHC during this past holiday season.
Thank you to staff, parents and most of all students; for you fundraising efforts during the flea market, the raffle and the popcorn sales.
On behalf of the MHC, we wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Thanks again,
Georgia

Patriots Spirit Day!
Dale Street School will have a Patriots Spirit Day on Friday, January 12th to support the local team as they move into the playoffs. Staff and students are encouraged to come to school in their Patriots attire or attire that supports their favorite football team.
As always, participation in spirit days is voluntary.
Students in Mrs. Lowerre's fifth grade classroom worked collaboratively to 'sail across the Atlantic Ocean' today. This simulation was used as a kick off to their explorer unit. Our young learners loved it!

It sure has been very cold the past few weeks. As a reminder, we use 20 degrees as our cut off mark for outside recess. We look at the actual temperature as well as the "feels like" temperature with the wind chill. As long as the temperature is above 20 degrees with the windchill, the kids will have outside recess barring any icy conditions that would make the playgrounds unsafe. Please keep this in mind when sending your child to school and be sure to send the proper clothing. Thank you in advance!
