January 13, 2017 - Week 19

Greetings Dale Street Families!

As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, January 16th in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  School will resume on Tuesday, January 17th.  See you then!

Positive Referrals!!!
These students received Positive Referrals this week for being super helpful.
Awesome job!

Dale Street had a phenomenal PTO funded MLK performance this morning.  Interactive storytellers engaged students and staff sharing the story of Martin Luther King Jr. and other individual associated with MLK.  Special thanks to the PTO for providing this performance.

Students Mrs. Curran/Hacker and Ms. Condon's classes were pretty excited to be using their green screen and the app Do Ink for the 1st time!

Groups are presenting a video sharing their understanding of the Native or Explorer perspective as the class discusses the impact on Native people during the Age of Exploration.

Dale Street students and staff looked great as they celebrated Patriots Spirit Day today!

A student who was working in the LMC recently and made this reflection on their own!  This is hanging in an area titled 'Museum of Mistakes.'  What a powerful reflection and a wonderful representation of a growth mindset!
