January 3, 2020 - Week 18

Happy New Year to All!

It's 2020 and we are back at work here at #beproudbedale.  Although it was a very short week, and everyone was a little bit tired, there were amazing things that took place.  Take a look.....

Although a new year, grade 4 students in Ms. Isaacson's class still exhibited the same wonderful work ethic they demonstrated last year.  This week, students spent time in math workshop with math specialist, Mrs. Perachi representing equivalent fractions on a number line.  Way to go!

Thank you to Ella for our book recommendation this week.  Ella recommended Smiles, by Raina Telgemeier.  This book inspired her because, "When I got braces I didn't like them and I thought they were uncomfortable and when I read this I thought Raina was like me."  Thanks, Ella!

All classes have started or will soon have their next lesson starting Unit 3, Communication with Dale Street Guidance Counselor, Ms. Warner.  The home school connection letter and the home activities letter are the same for both grade level this month.  Please take a moment and look through them.

This week, Mr. Mason’s fifth grade class used IPads, Apple TV, and the Redcat Speaker System to present their Planet Projects.  Great work!
