September 7, 2018 - Week 2

Hello Dale Street!

It was another great week here at #beproudbedale.  I have been so impressed with how hard the students and staff have worked in the very hot temperatures.  Take a minute to check out some of the awesome things that took place at Dale Street this past week.

On Thursday, Mrs. Crable's fourth grade students investigated the 'wonder of the day' on the learning site, Wonderopolis.  #learningisfun!

All of our classes have visited or will be visiting our fabulous Library Media Center to get acclimated to the wonderful book selections that Mrs. Cowell has worked hard to accumulate for our amazing students.  Please ask your child what their favorite genre is.

Congratulations to this week's Positive Referral!  This student truly exemplifies what Dale Street stands for!  Way to go!
Evelyn displayed compassion by helping a student in need.

On Wednesday, the students in Ms. Isaacson's fourth grade classroom got up and running with math workshop.  The students really enjoyed learning math and being active at the same time.

Check out the PTO update for this week.  Don't miss the first PTO meeting of the year on September 14th at 9am.

Ms. Hayes' fourth grade class took time this week to collaborate and solve a real world problem.  What a great way to showcase two of Dale Street's Core Values: Collaboration and Continuous Growth.

How cool is this....Matthew used his super talents to make a wooden planter for his teacher, Ms. Hayes.  Pure awesomeness!

Mr. Douglas' fourth grade students focused on place value during their math workshop on Tuesday.

Welcome to the start of a new school year and another year of A+ School Rewards.  Beginning September 7, 2018 and running through to March 16, 2019, Dale Street will have the opportunity to earn cash through the Stop & Shop A+ School Rewards Program. Dale Street’s Code to earn A+ bonus bucks is  07395

We had a wonderful showing for Dale Street's first spirit day of the year.  I really hope it brings the home team some luck on Sunday.

I am so proud of these two awesome young learners. This week each of them displayed some incredible creativity. #talented
