January 20, 2023 - Week 19

Hello Dale Street Community!

It is hard to imagine, but we are just about halfway through the '22-'23 school year. Our students and staff are working very hard and making every day count.  Take a look below to see some of the wonderful things that took place this week at #beproudbedale.

Tuesday, January 24th will be an early release day and students will be dismissed at 11:40 a.m.  Please be sure to update School Dismissal Manager to reflect your child's dismissal plans on this day.

This morning we celebrated a Positive Referral breakfast honoring our fall Positive Referral recipients. Thank you to all of the families who attended and special thanks to our cafeteria staff for providing the delicious refreshments. Congratulations to all of the Positive Referrals!

Congratulations to Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Stover, and our 4th and 5th-grade Orchestras for an amazing concert on Wednesday night. The students played beautifully! Bravo to our fantastic musicians!

On a visit to Ms. McKenzie's fifth-grade classroom this week, students were taking a deep dive into the relationship between division and fractions. Students did a wonderful job explaining their thinking.

Positive Sign Thursday!

'WE HAVE BIG DREAMS!'

This week, Dale Street students worked on balance and counterbalance during their time in physical education with Mrs. Nawrocki.
