PreK-5 Spirit Day on January 17th - Hero Day
On Friday, January 17th, Grade 4 and 5 students and staff will be invited to
dress up like their hero or wear an item of clothing that promotes a positive message such as Be Kind, Kindness Matters, etc… Students will be learning that a hero is someone who is special because of the brave, good, or kind things that they have done. We will celebrate Hero Day by having a school-wide assembly during which one student from each classroom will be reading about their hero.
Positive Sign Thursday!
THIS IS YOUR YEAR TO SPARKLE!!!
⏰ It’s time to start planning your teams for MCPE Trivia Night! ⏰ This popular MCPE event is coming up on Thursday, January 30th, and we will be opening registration for teams after the start of the New Year on Friday, January 10th. The event will be held again at the American Legion in Dover. Team sizes can be between 4 to 6 members. You’ll want to be ready with your team participants and a creative team name when you register!
If you’re signed up for our email list, you’ll get an email right away when event registration opens, or you can hop on our website then to grab your spot. You can also sign up for our emails on our website if you want to join the list.
Recess Reminder
Please be sure to send your child with weather-appropriate clothing. Also, labeling your child’s items with their name, initials, or homeroom is strongly encouraged. Students go outside to recess, weather permitting, as long as the temperature is 20 degrees (or above) with or without the windchill. In snowy conditions, children will need boots, snow pants, etc….to play on the playground and unpaved areas. Thank you in advance.
