Hello Dale Street Community!
It was a busy, productive, and fantastic week here at #beproudbedale! Please take a minute to scroll through to get a snapshot of the week and be sure to check in about some of our upcoming events.
Last Friday, the PTO Kids' Night Out returned! It was such a fun and exciting carnival experience for our Dale Street 5th graders. Special thanks to all of the parents who volunteered. I am excited to visit Grade 4's night tonight.
On Monday, Ms. Sager and members of Dale Street's Green Team intramural took a field trip to Medfield TV to film a public service announcement informing viewers of various recycling tips. What a great experience!
¿Adivina quién? This week with Señora LeVangie, Grade 4 students had fun guessing the mystery character while reviewing clothing, colors, and descriptions.
Our last Kids Night Out event is here! Please see the link below to sign your child up for tonight's 4th Grade Night. We also need volunteers so we'd appreciate any help you could give! (The sign-up genius link for volunteers is located on the permission slip.)

This week our fourth-grade students visited the New England Aquarium. Students had a lot of fun learning away from campus. While visiting the Aquarium, students learned more about ecosystems and habitats, food webs and energy, adaptations and evolution, and climate change and conservation. What a great trip!
Dale Street is excited to host Medfield author and illustrator, David Biedrzycki on Thursday, June 1st and Friday, June 2nd! Any families wishing to purchase or personalize books from David Biedrzycki before his visit to Dale Street can send in this book order form by Tuesday, May 23rd. Checks (made out to David Biedrzycki) are the preferred method of payment. Please reach out to Library Media Specialist, Julie Lowerre (jlowerre@email.medfield.net) with any questions! Thank you!
Please save the date of Tuesday, June 13th at 9:30 a.m. for Dale Street's Grade 5 Celebration. This year, the Grade 5 Celebration will take place on the basketball court outdoors and we are hoping for dry and nice weather. Grade 5 families are welcome and we are asking that all guests bring a lawn chair for seating in an area off the pavement. If there is inclement weather on this day, the celebration will be held in the gymnasium. If this is the case, we will only be able to welcome 2 guests per family for the celebration.
This week the Grade 4 trumpets, under the direction of Mrs. Tumbleson, showcased how well they work together and the importance of embracing trial and error as a means of discovery. |
(Will be updated with new information when necessary)
Have a wonderful weekend,
Respect * Compassion * Collaboration * Continuous Growth
